  • Praying and fighting in dungeons at the same time is not possible anymore.
  • After 14 days of inactivity you will receive a reminder mail.
  • The block mechanism has been changed in the whole game, only half the damage is being absorbed now.

  • Some more filters for the messages have been added (level-up, work, item sold, price-gold, praying, new victories, player messages, guild messages, auction house, buddy requests).
  • Number of folders raised from 5 to 9
  • New area for battle reports added.
  • Battle reports are not sent via ingame messages anymore (except guild battle reports).
  • The gained experience as defender in the arena is now shown in the battle report.
  • Honor is shown as reward in the battle report.
  • Draws are marked in orange in the battle report now.
  • The gold reward is always on top of the battle report now.
  • Font color in the overview of arena and CT reports unitized.
  • The order of the battle report entries for absorption of normal and critical hits has been adapted. The absorbed damage is listed first now, then the damage that did go through.
  • The time of the arena and CT fights in the overview includes seconds again.
  • The amount of gold and rubies has now separators in it again (e.g. 1.000.000).
  • „Browse“ function added in the battle reports; you can now switch to the previous / next one directly in the report.


Items
  • The user defined mercenary names stay in the tooltip now.
  • The sale of items is not anymore bound to a specific merchant, you can sell everything everywhere now.
  • Mercenary names dont disappear anymore when selling them to a merchant.
  • In the tooltip of food the intelligence bonus is now included in the amount of total healing points.
  • Weapons receive double the amount of damage bonus from pre- and suffixes.
  • New pre- and suffixes have been implemented in all level ranges.
  • Some „useless“ pre- and suffixes have been taken out of the game and won’t be offered anymore in the auction house or merchants.
  • The damage and armour values have been revised; through this change the health points should regain importance in the higher levels again.
  • The values of the mercenaries have been adopted according to their type.
  • The minus heath points have been removed from all items.
  • The formula for the health points of food was changed; intelligence has a greater influence now. The price of food was reduced with this change.
  • The effect of the different qualities (blue, purple) have been slightly changed.
  • Food combinations get double the intelligence bonus.
  • The cake gets a 1.5x intelligence bonus.


Interface
  • The game interface and startpage were completely redesigned.
  • The following informations were added to the top bar of the game interface:

    - Expedition points
    - Dungeon points
    - Circus Turma ranking
    - Waiting time for expeditions
    - Waiting time for dungeons
    - Waiting time for arena fights
    - Quicklink to the area in which you did your last expedition.
    - Quicklink to the dungeon where you made your last dungeon fight.
    - Quicklink to the arena

  • An extra button for battle reports has been added to the top bar. You also see the number of new packages, messages and battle reports now.
  • Several entry fields (e.g.notes, messages) have been enlarged.
  • The length of your text is shown while typing; added to notes, guild and normal messages.
  • The majority of popup windows got new graphics.
  • A description of the effects of attributes has been added to the tooltip.


Quests
  • New questsystem added with different quest types.
  • "Quests" is replacing the old tavern.


Arena
  • The calculations of the gold loot in the arena was adjusted to the experience points.
  • The damage absorbed by the armor is now visible In the arena battle report.
  • There is now an additional Circus Turma attack button next to the normal arena button. If you or the enemy player is not in the Circus Turma the button is greyed out.


Expedition
  • The expedition system was completely revised
  • Regardless if you are Centurio or not the expedition costs are now 1 expedition point
  • Centurios still get 1 expedition point every hour - non-Centurios have to wait 2 hours in order to get one expedition point
  • You now have the chance for item drops with the quality level Jupiter (orange) when beating the boss of an area.

Dungeons
  • There are two new dungeons in the green forest of Germania; difficulty normal and advanced.
  • Instead of being able to choose from 3 difficulty levels for a dungeon there is at least 1 difficulty level for the normal dungeons and an additional one for advanced players (in the new dungeons).
  • Certain click areas of dungeons were optimized
  • Dungeons can now be canceled and by that be restarted
  • The difficulty level of the Grimwood dungeon (level 10) was decreased to make the fighting with the mercenaries more accessible
  • Mercenaries that are healers won’t get a presence bonus from your charsima
  • The healing caused by presence was reduced drastically
  • Special attack ‘negative attack’ ends after n-round and not after n-use

Achievements
  • Some achievements and their groups that aren’t needed anymore after the updates were removed

Guilds
  • The deletion of a guild will happen one week after the guild master hat initiated the deletion.
  • A direct deletion of a guild is still possible when a guild master kicks every member and then leaves it as the last one.
  • When a guild master leaves the the guild while other members are still in the guild the new guild master will be chosen by the following order:

    - Active*, not banned admin with highest honor amount
    - Active*, not banned member with highest honor amount
    - Inactive, not banned admin with highest honor amount
    - Inactive, not banned member with highest honor amount
    - After that the same the same manner will be used for the banned members
    *Active = online in the last 35 days

  • An even upgrade number of the guild warehouse prevented the rights from being updated - now fixed
  • The guild deletion function was moved to the guild administration page
  • Guild members with admin rights can’t demote the guild master anymore
  • Various HTML-code bugs of Vox Logus broke the layout - now fixed
  • Added a error message when applying with no text
  • Too long guild names and guild homepages are now being wrapped in the guild overview
Premium
  • 3 pacts have now new effects - the old ones weren’t applicable anymore:

    - “Blessing of Mercury” doubles expedition boni
    - “Secret knowledge of the beast master” increases the learning chance of the expedition boni by 5%
    - “Secret knowledge of the artefact collector” increases the drop chance for items on expedition and dungeons by 15%

  • The bonus from the “Secret knowledge of the ancients” from the defender will be shown when the defender wins
  • Added the description of the Centurio dungeon features.

Arena
  • When winning an arena or circus turma fight (within the gold / XP range), you will receive a "victory
    reward".
  • From now on you also receive experience points in the Circus Turma (with the same calculation as in the arena).
  • A chance for experience points was added to the hourly arena pot reward.
Expeditions
  • The regeneration of expedition points was changed:
    - Centurio players get a point every 45 minutes now (before 60 min.)
    - Non-Centurio players get a point every 90 minutes (before 120 min.)
  • The waiting time for expeditions is now related to the level in the level range 1-7. At level 1 you have a 15
    second waiting time, level 2 = 30 seconds,..., at level 7 it is back to the normal 10 minutes again. This is meant as a
    starting help for new players.
  • When leveling up, all expeditions points are refilled.
Dungeons
  • The regeneration of dungeon points was changed:
    - Centurio players get a point every 60 minutes now (also 60 min.)
    - Non-Centurio players get a point every 90 minutes (before 120 min.)

Premium

Arena / CT:
  • Circus Turma and the arena have been divided completely. This means they have their own cooldown and 1 hour protection. The entry of the CT is still voluntary.
  • The system generated “victory reward” in the Circus Turma is now depending on the number of “killed” opponents and the number of “survivors” in your own group. The better the result is, the more gold you will receive. So if you kill all opponents, but all your mercenaries survive, you get the best possible victory reward. The rounds need to be adapted to this change and will be raised to 50..
  • The behaviour of “direct attention to oneself” mercenaries was adapted, they dont attack the healer right away anymore.
  • In the arena you receive honour and in the Circus Turma you will receive fame.
  • The description of the Circus Omnipotens was changed to a more detailed explanation.
Interface
  • Tooltips for the comparison of equipped items are now also working in the bags. In this way you can compare easily your equipped items with the ones in your bagpack.
  • Tooltips were added to the areas which show the required level to enter the area.
The header of the interface was rearranged:
  • Health points and experience is now shown (with tooltip as known from the overview)
  • Honour and fame are now shown in the tooltip of the ranking symbol.
  • The arena and Circus Turma have their own cooldown bar now since they are separated.
  • Quicklinks are also working when the cooldown is still running.
  • As soon as all expedition / dungeon points are used, the cooldown bar shows the time until a new exp. / dungeon point is generated.
  • Seperators for thousands were added to the display of high amounts (several places).
Dungeons
  • A new dungeon was added at the “Pirate Harbour” (Italy): normal lvl 15 / advanced lvl78
  • A new dungeon was added at the “Lost harbour” (Africa): normal lvl 45 / advanced lvl100

Special moves of bosses:
  • Critical damage immunity does not mean immunity against double hits anymore.
  • Group attacks are directed to all group members now, not only to a random amount.
Achievements / Victories
  • The layout of the victories was slightly changed.
Guilds
  • Draws are now shown in orange again on battle reports.
Tasks:
  • The generation of dungeon tasks was optimized. The number of wins against NPCs in higher dungeons has now more influence.

• Fixed an error in the calculation of the hit chance in dungeons, Circus Turma and expeditions.
• When reaching level 10, players receive one healer including some equipment, sent as a package. Additionally the dungeon character will be equipped automatically with some items.

• This should help beginners getting started in the CT and dungeons.

Items

• Drop chance for orange items added for dungeon bosses with level 110 or higher.

Interface

• The training interface was changed, the new layout should provide a better overview of the attributes.

Tasks / Missions / Gods

• The menu point „Tasks“ has been renamed to “Pantheon”.
• 6 different gods have been implemented; through tasks and missions you can receive bonuses and special items from them.
• A completely new mission system was implemented. This system is used to collect favour points for the new gods.
• The task rewards now include also favour points for the new gods.
• The arena tasks have been adjusted, they should be easier to complete now.
• The task generation for dungeons was also slightly adjusted; unfortunately it will need a little while till the system generates the correct tasks for you.
• The rewards layout was slightly changed.

Arena / CT

• The “normal” arena now uses the same fight script as dungeons, expeditions and the Circus Turma do.
• The amount of rounds in arena fights was raised to 15 and doesn’t vary anymore.
• The Circus Omnipotens was removed from the game.
• The Circus turma is obligatory now. Every player that reaches level 10 automatically enters it.
• New: Every player has the possibility to change its participation status in the Circus Turma to active or inactive:

o Active: You can attack other gladiators, advance in your arena ranking, steal gold and earn experience points. You can also be attacked by other gladiators and your gold can be stolen.

o Passive: You can’t attack anyone and with that, not advance in your arena ranking. You can still be attacked by others, but no gold will be stolen nor will these attacks harm you in any other way. Furthermore you can’t fight in the Circus Provinciarum and you don’t receive any gold when being on the first place of your league.

o When switching to passive / active mode, a cooldown of 24 hours is activated; switching back is only possible when this cooldown is finished (as known from leaving / entering the Circus Turma at the moment)

• There is a real bashing protection in the arena now. After the 5th attack on the same player in 24 hours (0:00-23:59), you can’t attack this player anymore (as known from the Circus Turma). (exceptions can be made in case of "forum" guild wars)
• Attacker and defender points are now always shown in Circus Turma battle reports.
• It is now possible to do arena and Circus Turma fights against gladiators from other provinces -> Arena Provinciarum and Circus Provinciarum.
• If there is only one server in a community, guild members will be marked “green” in the list of opponents in the Arena Provinciarum and Circus Provinciarum.
• If there is only one server in a community, the attacks in the Arena and the Arena Provinciarum both count into the 5 attacks on the same player per day (0:00-23:59), the same counts for Circus Turma and Circus Provinciarum.


Dungeons

• The dungeon at the „Barbarian Village“ was adapted to the new system:
O Normal: Level 73
O Advanced: Level 88 (was level 100 before)
• The dungeon at the „Umpokta Tribe“ was adapted to the new system:
O Normal: Level 90 (was level 80 before)
O Advanced: Level 102
• The opponents in the advanced dungeon “Externsteine” in “the green forest” are now more challenging.

Victories

• The new missions system made some victories become useless, these have been removed.
• The amount of titles was reduced drastically in order to make titles something special again.

Guilds

• The guild building „Pantheon“ was renamed to „Templum“.
• The „Templum“ can now be used to pray to a certain god to gain favour points.
• Circus Turma battle reports can be seen in the War Master Hall now.

3) Important hints for the update!
Since this update is quite a big one, the following "side effects" can't be avoided when updating:

• All tasks will be cancelled (and newly generated)
• Achievement points are re-calculated.
• Zagrash, Papa Sasama and Bergzorn will be released out of the Negotium.
• The dungeons in the areas "Green Forest", "Umpokta Tribe" and "Barabarian Village" are cancelled (you need to re-enter).
• All combat reports will be deleted.
• All chosen titles will be unchosen.
• Praying will be cancelled.
• System messages for praying will be deleted.

Some important hints for the update:- The cross server fights will be activated again, but it might need a while after the update till they are activated.
- Since a dungeon was changed, the following side effects can't be avoided:
Hellhound will be released out of the Negotium.
The dungeon at the Wolf Cave (normal) will be cancelled (you need to re-enter).
Some statistics of the dungeon Wolf Cave (normal) needed to be reset

Ave gladiators!

We hope you had a great start into the new year and have some great news for you right away:
The ingame chat is arriving!

Some of you might have already seen the chat on the public test server, but here is a brief description for all that haven’t seen it yet.

Basic features:

- Public channel (channel for all players of your server)
- Guild channels (channel for your guild)
- Whisper function (private conversations)
- The chat is optional (activate / deactivate)

How to activate the chat?
As soon as the chat is installed, you will see a speech balloon in the upper left corner to click on:



To activate it, click the speech balloon. The chat will pop up:


( Verbindung wird hergestellt = Connecting. , Willkommen im Chat = Welcome to the chat)

To deactivate it again, simply press the speech balloon again.
On the screenshot you can see the two tabs for the channels, „Alles“ (=Public) and „Gilde“ (=guild). The chat window can also be changed in size and be moved around on the screen as you wish.

How do I whisper to a player / How do I report a player?

To start a private chat with a player or to report him, please click (left click) on the name in the chat window, this is what it will look like:


(Anflüstern = to whisper, Melden = to report)

Whisper:

- Whisper messages are marked (blue) in the chat.
- Players on your (ingame messages) ignore list can‘t whisper to you.

Report:

- If a player doesn’t respect the chat rules, you can report him. The rules for the chat are the same as for ingame messages.
- The report function automatically mutes a player if he was reported by several players.

- ATTENTION: Any abuse of the report function can lead to a chat ban, but also to a ban of the game account. So please only report if there actually is some misbehavior of a player.

Rules:
The chat underlies the same rules as ingame messages do. So please don’t insult / threaten players, don’t post links advertising third party games (or any malicious content of course), do not use any other language than the official one of your community, etc. Depending on the severity of the violation, a ban can be placed for the chat and / or the game account.

Ingame chat added – public channel, guild channel, private conversations.
2 new commands added:
- /gonline (shows which of your guild members are online in the chat)
- /fonline (show which of your Familia members are online in the chat)
During backup times (8:00,16:00,0:00 German time) a maintenance page will be shown now. Playing isnt possible during the backup, this should avoid backup-related errors.

Interface
The effect of the special event items (e.g. Cervisia) is shown in the tooltip now.
The order of „level“, „price“ and „value“ is the same in all items‘ tooltips now.

Arena / CT
No battle reports are sent anymore for a victorious defense during the Provinciarum „30-minute-protection“. You also don‘t receive honour for those fights nor do these defenses count into the statistics / highscore.
Circus Turma fights are counting to the victories in the highscore now.

Dungeons
A new dungeon was added at the „Bridge“ (Africa):
- Normal: Level 35 (needed level to enter: 25)
- Advanced: Level 96 (needed level to enter: 86)
The bosses Nekromar, Papa Sasama and Zagrash didn’t use their special ability „Damage Reflect“ due to a bug, this was fixed.

Guilds
The recipes for the guild library were re-balanced:
The effect of the "Blessing of might" was lowered.
The effect of the "Blessing of life" was heavily increased.
The gold price for the activation in the library was adapted.
The duration of the blessings was raised to 4 hours (1hour before).
The calculation of the recipes level via the average guild level was adapted.

Premium
The „Honor of the veterans“ isn’t dependent on the „Blessing of Venus“ anymore.

Important update hints:
-Due to changes in some dungeons and a bugfix, all dungeons need to be resetted. This means that you will be kicked out of the dungeon with the update and need to re-enter it afterwards.
-The highscore value „victories“ will rise due to the Circus Turma fights being added.

A new area was added in the Pantheon, the treasury.
A completely new costume system was added.


Items
The „Medals of Honor“ have been removed from the
game since they are not compatible with the new costume system. All
players that still have medals in their inventory or have one activated,
will be refunded with the invested amount of gold or rubies.

Treasury
You can open a „chest of divine fate“ in the treasury now and win a lot of special prizes.
One
„chest of divine providence“ per day can be achieved through fights in
the different arenas (PvP), by investing rubies you can receive as much
as you wish.
Chests contain special rewards, such as:
- Magical bag: The activation grants an additional bag in your inventory (for 7 days).
- Mobilisation: The activation grants 3 expedition points.
- Gate key: The activation grants 3 dungeon points.

Costumes
A short description on how the costumes work:
Every costume has a certain amount of parts to collect.
The parts can be found on expeditions, in dungeons and in the „chest of divine providence“.
Every costume offers certain bonuses, depending on the amount of parts collected.
You can have 2 costumes activated at the same time (Standard fight and dungeon fight)
In this way you can combine bonuses of different costumes. Identical bonuses add up.
The equipped costume is shown in the profile and battle reports.

New costume: Vulcanus‘ Fire of the Blacksmith*
1 Part: Reduces the waiting time for new goods at the merchants by 25%.
3 Parts: Extends the duration of packages by 2 days.
5 Parts: Reduces the Circus Turma cooldown by 20%.

New costume: Feronia‘s Shield of Earth*
1 Part: Raises the HP regeneration by 100%.
3 Parts: Shortens the cooldown for the first blessing of Gods by 6 hours.
5 Parts: Saves 40% of your gold.

New costume: Neptune‘s Power of the Seas*
1 Part: Shortens the cooldown for the second blessing of Gods by 12 hours.
3 Parts: Extends the duration of holy oils by 12 hours.
5 Parts: Lowers the training costs by 3%.

New costume: Aeolus‘ Freedom of the Winds*
1 Part: No travelling costs!
3 Parts: Adds a 2 favour points per day for each god when picking up the daily bonus!
5 Parts: Reduces the dungeon cooldown by 20%.

New costume: Pluto‘s Deadly Breath*
1 Part: Reduces the Circus Turma cooldown by 10%.
3Parts: Raises the amount of favour points given for Arena and Circus
Turma tasks. The costume needs to be equipped when picking up the
rewards.
5 Parts: Reduces the Arena cooldown by 20%.

New costume: Juno‘s Breath of Life*
1 Part: Raises the intelligence bonus on food / healing items by 50%.
3 Parts: Raises the health regeneration (through level and constitution) by 200%.
5 Parts: Reduces the expedition cooldown by 20%.

Interface
The display of building and area names on the city and country map was slightly adapted.

Arena / CT
In the Circus Turma, the behaviour of mercenaries
which are set to „direct attention to oneself“ is more defensive now. A
mercenary set to „direct attention to oneself“ refuses to attack if 2
other mercenaries (with higher presence) already direct the attention to
themselves.

Premium
New currencies were added for many Premium features.
As alternative to the payment with rubies, you can also use these
specific new currencies.
These currencies can be bought in the new shop in the „Premium“ section, or can be found in the „chest of divine fate“.
The100% healing potion that is given with the activation / extension of
the Centurio will no longer be delivered via packages. From now on they
are credited directly to your account and can be activated in the new
„inventory“ in the premium section. All 100% healing potions that are
still in your inventory or packages, will be converted into this new
premium item.


During update process
„Medals of honor“ will be removed and invested gold /
rubies refunded (gold sent as package / rubies are directly credited to
the ruby count).
100% healing potions are converted into the new premium item.

A vacation mode was implemented into the game:
The vacation mode can be started in the profile settings.
This mode has the following effects to your account:
You are not able to play active until you leave the vacation mode.
The expiration time of packages is frozen.
No gold can be stolen from the gladiator.
By being number one in the arena, no gold and no experience is gained.
But you can still be attacked in the arena and if you get beaten you lose your position.
The minimum time frame of the vacation mode is 2 days.
After 30 days the vacation mode will automatically end.
A new activation is possible after 35 days since the last exit of the vacation mode.


The profile settings have been divided into 4 sections:

Show alternative comparison tool tips:
This setting can be found in profile settings, section "Game"
This replaces the already-know view of actual equipped items within the tool tip, for example if you move your mouse over an item on the market.
The new comparison tool tips show the difference of attributes of the equipment being compared.
This should lead to a easier realization of whether the item is better or worse than the currently equipped.

Auction house/ Market
In the auction house can now be selected with which gladiator or mercenaries the item should be compared with in the tool tip.

Interface
For the future tablet version, we made several changes at various points in the game.
The screen for selecting the gender has been changed slightly.
